The cruise ship MS Theodor Körner is a spacious, floating hotel, traditionally built with a cosy atmosphere on board.  There is a restaurant, Panorama-bar, Viennese café with a sun terrace and a spacious sun deck with deckchairs. The small library provides books and magazines for reading and relaxation.

The cabins are approximately 9-10 metres square and rustically decorated.

Day 1
Passau

Individual Arrival in Passau

The MS Theodor Körner will be awaiting your arrival in the harbour and the crew will welcome you on board from 5 pm onwards with a cocktail. After being assigned your cabin, dinner will be served on board, accompanied by live music. Rental bikes will be available on board.

Day 2
Vienna

Passau - Donauschlinge - Vienna, approx. 50 km

Today your cycle tour begins through the romantic riverscape of the “Schlögener Schlinge”. Cycling is easy when you are surrounded by such a beautiful landscape. Today’s destination is Aschach. The MS Theodor Körner will take you overnight to the former Residence of the Habsburgs: Vienna.

Day 3
Bratislava

Vienna - Bratislava, approx. 55/75 km

Today you will be able to experience pure nature by bicycle. Expansive river floodplains, wild forests, small ponds, vines and countless types of animals await you along the route to Bratislava.  Sporty cyclists can cycle the entire route but it can also be shortened by taking the train for part of the way (not included).  In Bratislava you will be able discover the lovingly restored Old Town with its many attractions during an evening stroll.

Day 4
Budapest

Bratislava - Budapest (Rest day)

Today you will be able to enjoy the fantastic landscape of the “Donauknies” from the comfort of a boat. Even entering the city of artists and operettas is an experience, as many of the attractions in Budapest can be viewed from the boat. Take your time today and discover Hungary’s largest city. In the evening, we recommend a tour of the beautifully lit city.

Day 5

Budapest - Danube Bend - Esztergom, approx. 25/60 km

The Danube Bend is one of the most impressive landscapes along this route and is also known as the Hungarian Wachau. Your tour today begins in the picturesque small town of Visegrad and leads you through a gently rolling hilly landscape. You can choose between two routes-the longer option includes a detour to Szentendre Island and to the Baroque city of Vác. The largest church in Hungary is located at the end of the Danube Bend - the Basilica of Esztergom.

Day 6
Esztergom

Esztergom - Vienna (Rest day)

Today you will have the chance of taking part in a bicycle tour of the city (duration ca. 3.5 hour). The boat will remain anchored in the same position all day so that you will have the opportunity to discover the beautiful city of Vienna independently. Why not discover the medieval romantic atmosphere between the Hafnersteig, Heiligenkreuzerhof, Blut- and Domgasse. Or how about having a tour of the Hofburg Palace or taking a break in the famous Demel pastry shop and chocolatier?

Day 7
Melk

Vienna - Wachau, approx. 35 km

Today holds a special highlight for you: The Wachau Valley region. Your path leads along the old vineyard road through one of the most attractive landscapes in Austria with countless historical buildings and castles: Schönbühel Castle, the ruins of Aggstein and Dürnstein...
In the evening you will be treated to a Gala-dinner on board the ship. You can round off your last evening on board with an interesting Folklore-Show.

Day 8
Passau

Wachau - Passau, journey home or extension of stay

This morning you will be able to enjoy the morning peacefulness of the Danube Valley and cast a last look at the Schlögen river bend, before reaching Passau at about 11.30 am, where you will leave the boat.
